Blackmagic PYXIS 6K is an advanced digital film camera with an incredibly versatile design that lets you build the perfect camera rig for your production. This new model features a 6048 x 4032 full frame HDR sensor with built in optical low pass filter, dual native ISO, dual CFexpress media slots, all in a customizable body with flexible mounting options and side plates.

The built in LCD on Blackmagic PYXIS is more than just a simple status display. It’s a 4″ high resolution HDR touchscreen that is also perfect for monitoring and reviewing shots on set. Its full HD resolution means customers can frame and focus their shots without needing to carry around a bulky external monitor. Customers can even use the display as a focus assist station.

Blackmagic PYXIS features a logical design that puts important functions such as ISO, WB and shutter at their fingertips with both touchscreen and physical controls. A row of 3 customizable function buttons means customers don’t have to go hunting through menus on a tiny screen to find a command. The controls can even be locked to avoid accidentally changing settings during a shot or when the camera is out of reach on a rig.

The innovative side plates expand the riggability of their camera even further. The standard plate included with Blackmagic PYXIS is made from the same aircraft grade aluminum as the camera body and features 2 1/4″ thread mounts and one 3/8″ thread mount, allowing customers to add microphones, brackets or other accessories. Or customers can attach the included SSD plate which offers a convenient location to securely attach a USB-C drive for recording or even a mobile phone for live streaming.

Blackmagic URSA Cine 12K is a revolution in digital film with a new large format RGBW 36 x 24mm sensor with larger photo-sites for 16 stops of dynamic range. This revolutionary model also includes interchangeable lens mounts, a dedicated assist station with a second 5″ HDR LCD touchscreen, built in ND filters and industry standard Lemo and Fischer connections. Blackmagic URSA Cine comes with a massive 8TB of removable high performance media storage built in and also includes high speed 10G Ethernet and Wifi for fast media upload and syncing to Blackmagic Cloud.

URSA Cine is designed to meet the demands of any high end production. The evenly weighted camera body is built with a robust magnesium alloy chassis and lightweight carbon fiber polycarbonate composite skin to help customers move quickly on set. Standard Lemo and Fischer connectors let customers control the camera remotely while providing power for lens motors and other accessories. Customers also get 12G-SDI out, 10G Ethernet, USB-C, XLR audio and more.

The full sensor area gives customers a stunning 3:2 open gate image which lets customers reframe their shots in post production. Or customers can use the large sensor area to shoot anamorphic and deliver in a range of aspect ratios with 1.3, 1.5, 1.6, 1.66, 1.8 and 2x de-squeeze factors. Plus, customers can shoot in 4K, 8K or 12K using the entire sensor without cropping, retaining the full field of view of their lenses. There are even 9K Super 35 4-perf, 3-perf and 2-perf modes for full compatibility with classic cinema lenses.

Different projects require different lenses which is why URSA Cine features an interchangeable lens mount. Customers can quickly switch between PL, LPL, EF and Hasselblad mounts.

The URSA Cine 12K lets crews work faster on set with multiple monitoring options. The fold out monitor has a large 5″ HDR touchscreen on one side and an external color status LCD on the other. On the right side of the camera, there’s a dedicated assist station with a second 5″ HDR touchscreen which allows crew to work around the camera without needing external monitors.

The camera body is constructed with durable and lightweight magnesium, so it will hold steady in any environment. The Blackmagic Design URSA Mini Pro 12k features an innovative high speed USB-C Expansion Port. The new 12K model has a USB‑C 3.1 Gen 2 for a blistering 10 Gb/s. You can connect and power external flash disks and SSDs or the new URSA Mini Recorder for recording to fast NVMe SSD drives for longer recording times. NVMe SSD drives are ideal for shooting 12K in the highest constant quality 12‑bit Blackmagic RAW in the Q0 setting or for high frame rates. When shooting is complete you can simply move the external disk to your computer and start editing from the same disk.

The Blackmagic Design URSA Mini Pro 12k is also compatible with all of the same accessories as previous models, shoulder kits, studio and eng viewfinders, battery plates, etc.

Upping the electronics and recording capabilities of its Mini Pro predecessor, the Blackmagic Design‘s URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2 Digital Cinema Camera brings expanded control set and even more functionality. The G2 introduces an updated Super 35 4.6K sensor featuring 15 stops of dynamic range at 3200 ISO, high frame rate recording up to 300 fps, and additional recording functionality.

First, the addition of external camera controls allows menus to be accessed to change exposure settings, activate slow/fast motion, or engage focus assist or other functions. The exterior of the camera also gains a monochrome LCD panel which displays essential shooting data at a glance. Another welcome pro feature is the built-in ND (neutral density) filter wheel. The four-position wheel switches between two, four, and six stops of neutral density, plus a clear filter for no exposure reduction.

Behind the display, two SD card slots beside the CFast 2.0 slots enable more affordable media to be used for less intensive recording formats. The G2 introduces a USB-C expansion port so you can record directly to external drives. The default electronic EF lens mount is user-interchangeable and adjustable to ensure proper flange focal distance.

At the heart of the camera is Blackmagic Design’s acclaimed Super 35mm 4.6K sensor block, known for its ability to capture cinematic images with subtle gradients and large dynamic range rated at 15 stops. The G2 can now capture Blackmagic RAW footage in film and extended modes which makes it more versatile to meet your production needs. Probably the most impressive update with the G2 is the ability to capture 4.6K footage at 120 fps, 4K DCI at 150 fps, or even 1080p footage at 300 fps which is well suited for fast-action shooting.

Enhance the sound quality of your videos by adding an external mic to your URSA Mini or Mini Pro via this Microphone Mount from Blackmagic Design. Shock- and vibration-isolated, the mount minimizes rumble and handling noise. Mounting screws are included for easy installation on your camera.

Like all URSA Broadcast accessories, the Blackmagic URSA Mic Mount is the same microphone mount used on the URSA Mini digital film cameras and it also works on URSA Broadcast! You get both a flat mount and an angled mount, along with two screws for securing the mounts to the camera. The microphone holder features rubber shock absorbers to isolate the microphone from vibration and shock so noise from bumps are eliminated from coupling into the microphone while recording. The shock absorbers are also flexible enough to allow a wide range of third party shotgun microphones to be used with URSA Broadcast.

The flat mount can be used on larger rigs to keep the microphone away from other accessories, and the angled mount is perfect for compact rigs.
