Like all URSA Broadcast accessories, the Blackmagic URSA Mic Mount is the same microphone mount used on the URSA Mini digital film cameras and it also works on URSA Broadcast! You get both a flat mount and an angled mount, along with two screws for securing the mounts to the camera. The microphone holder features rubber shock absorbers to isolate the microphone from vibration and shock so noise from bumps are eliminated from coupling into the microphone while recording. The shock absorbers are also flexible enough to allow a wide range of third party shotgun microphones to be used with URSA Broadcast.

The flat mount can be used on larger rigs to keep the microphone away from other accessories, and the angled mount is perfect for compact rigs.

Blackmagic Design Video Assist 3G-SDI/HDMI 5″ Recorder/Monitor

Add professional monitoring and high-quality recording to your camera with the Video Assist 3G-SDI/HDMI 5″ Recording Monitor from Blackmagic Design. It features a bright 5″ 1920 x 1080 display with 300 cd/m² brightness to help you frame and focus your shots, and it provides 3G-SDI and HDMI inputs for recording the video output from professional and consumer cameras. You can monitor and record video resolutions up to 1080p60 10-bit 4:2:2 and up to 16 channels of embedded 24-bit 48 kHz audio. Firmware update 3.3.1 adds a video output via the USB Type-C port that can be used to convert your connected camera for webcam use. It also enables you to select channels for audio monitoring.

The Video Assist 3G 5″ records to an SDXC/SDHC memory card using a single UHS-I SD card slot. Use the USB Type-C port to record for configuring and upgrading the monitor. Video is recorded using industry-standard Apple ProRes (HQ, 422, LT, or Proxy) and Avid DNxHD codecs.

The large URSA Studio Viewfinder connects to the camera using a 3G-SDI BNC input, and it features 2000 cd/m² brightness, allowing you to view images clearly indoors or outdoors. Perfect when you’re covering live events and need to stand behind the camera for hours. Multiple dials and knobs allow you to navigate and adjust settings, and an LED light provides tally information. Its status display provides metadata from the camera, including frame guides, status, and peaking, and it also shows the fps, battery level, shutter, gain, and more. It is powered using the 4-pin XLR power input that can be used right from your URSA camera power output. It also features a USB Type-C input for setup and firmware updates.

The Blackmagic Design Studio Fiber Converter is a bi-directional fiber optic interface for the Blackmagic Camera Fiber Converter. Able to communicate with a Camera Fiber Converter up to 1.6 miles away, the Studio Fiber Converter can be implemented in OB vans, television studios, and large venues to carry video, audio, communication, and control signals over a single SMPTE fiber connection. On the rear panel, SDI connections for HD or UHD 4K video and HD return feeds are available. Audio breaks out from the four XLR connections. Additional connections include reference in and out, PTZ and intercom/tally on D connectors, Ethernet, and SFP fiber (requires separately available SFP cage). The front panel features a lone SMPTE fiber connector for the Camera Fiber Converter and a 5″ display.

The Blackmagic URSA Viewfinder is designed specifically for use with the URSA and URSA mini digital film cameras. It features a high-resolution 1920 x 1080 color OLED display, precision glass optics, and an adjustable diopter to fine tune to your vision. It also has a built-in digital focus chart to help when focusing on your subjects. To boost the longevity of the OLED screen, the viewfinder uses a built-in sensor that only turns the screen on when you’re looking through it. It screws directly onto the top of your URSA camera and is adjustable, so it can be used with the left or right eye.

ATEM 1 M/E Advanced Panel, a new elegantly designed compact hardware control panel designed to work with all ATEM switchers. The ATEM 1 M/E Advanced Panel features the latest broadcast technology, smooth professional buttons, knobs, T-Bar fader and joystick, a built in LCD and more.

The ATEM 1 M/E Advanced Panel is designed to give customers a new elegantly designed control panel that ensures precise control over their ATEM live production switcher when producing complex live television programs with multiple cameras and sources. The compact size fits in a standard equipment rack, making it perfect for use in fly away kits, outside broadcast trucks, and at live events with limited space.

The ATEM 1 M/E Advanced Panel features newly designed buttons and LCD based labels that help improve clarity and reduce incorrect key presses. The buttons have customizable color backlighting to indicate status and activity. In addition, dynamic displays are placed above and below the buttons. These provide customizable text, multi language support, and the custom label colors. The combination of button colorization and customizable text labels help customers quickly identify important keys while working on high pressure, fast paced live switched programs.

The layout of the panel has been designed with the help of professional broadcasters. The ATEM 1 M/E Advanced Panel has a new custom design T-Bar fader and buttons that are logically grouped in a familiar broadcast layout, so customers with experience using older panels can get up and running quickly. Dedicated groups of buttons are spaced apart so controls for things such as transitions, macros and keyers can be quickly located and used without the risk of accidentally hitting the wrong button. The ATEM 1 M/E Advanced Panel features a shift button that doubles the number of inputs that can be controlled from 10 to 20.

The new M/E selection buttons allow control of up to 4 independent M/Es on a single panel so customers quickly switch between and control up to 4 mix effect rows, effectively enabling total control of a 4 M/E switcher from a 1 M/E hardware panel. This makes it possible to use the ATEM 1 M/E Advanced Panel with the new ATEM 4 M/E Broadcast Studio 4K.

The upper section of the ATEM 1 M/E Advanced Panel features a large 5 inch LCD with 4 soft buttons and 4 soft knobs, along with a set of dedicated function buttons on the left, and a numeric keypad and professional joystick on the right. The color screen gives customers large clear labels of what’s currently on the preview and program busses. Plus, the screen automatically changes based on the current function and provides controls for quickly adjusting things such as transition rates, effects, graphics and more.

Secure the Blackmagic Design Camera Fiber Converter to your URSA Broadcast camera to interface with studio infrastructure via SMPTE fiber optic cable and a separately available Studio Fiber Converter for breakout up to 1.6 miles away. The converter moves the most common camera controls to the rear of the camera assembly for ease of operator access. Studio-standard connectivity includes talkback headset 5-pin XLR ports, as well as SDI video for monitor output. In total, the Camera Fiber Converter has a single outgoing 12G-SDI connection for HD or UHD 4K video and three incoming 3G-SDI connections for monitoring with a separate studio viewfinder. Use the V-lock at the top to secure the studio viewfinder. All mounting hardware is included for securing the converter to the camera.

You get an Ultra HD camera with 3 return feeds, multiple channels of talkback, tally, control, PTZ, tracker and much more, all down a single SMPTE standard optical fiber cable. You also get a backup talkback link so you can still support and diagnose problems if the fiber link is offline. The studio and fiber converters constantly monitor power for any kind of damage to the power wires in the cable. If damage or a power leak is detected, the power is instantly shut down to eliminate any danger. The link between the camera and the studio end is standard 10G Ethernet so your video and return feeds are all IP video based. The converter can be quickly swapped for a battery plate at any time if you want to reconfigure the camera for regular production work.
