The PLAY features an easy, intuitive interface that resembles most popular media players. It is compatible with NDI 5 functionality and supports all the features of NDI, NDI|HX2, NDI Remote, and NDI Bridge to seamlessly detect all the NDI video streams on your network. Built-in CEC support allows you to use a variety of CEC remote controllers you may already have to control the video player features of the box. You can also utilize an API for custom programming with numerous APIs such as RESTful API, Crestron control module, Zoom API, Q-SYS API, among others.

The PLAY 4K NDI Player has a compact footprint that measures only 3.3″ square and can sit anywhere in your environment by mounting it on your desktop with its rubberized base ring or by using its magnetic base. It is powered via the USB Type-C input that can accommodate a separately available 5V power source or adapter.

The USB Type-C port allows you to connect any USB video source such as a webcam or computer, so it’s capable of broadcasting video and audio on any webcam-compatible platform and software such as Skype, YouTube Live, Facebook Live, Twitch, Periscope, Teams, and more on Mac, Windows, Linux, and Chrome OS systems. It supports the H.264 codec and streams via RTMP and can stream in resolutions up to 1080p60.

The SDI and HDMI monitor ports provide detailed status information on your feed, so you can monitor whether you are ON AIR as well as input status such as bit depth and stream quality, embedded audio input status, video and audio history, trend graphs, and video and audio meters. You can also see basic status information on the bright LCD screen on the front of the unit. There is also an SDI loop output for monitoring the original feed and sending it to a switcher or router.

The Web Presenter allows you to input any 12G/6G/3G/HD-SDI video source up to UHD 4K.

You can stream H.264 video via RTMP streaming protocols to the internet via Ethernet or tether a 5G or 4G phone to use mobile data, and there’s a very-large ON AIR indicator on the top left of the monitor output. So it’s always clear when you are online and streaming. Plus all your current streaming settings are displayed clearly.

The ATEM 1 M/E Constellation 4K is a powerful live production switcher that includes 10 standards converted 12G-SDI inputs, 6 x 12G-SDI outputs, DVE, 4 ATEM Advanced chroma keyers, a 16 way multiview, media players, talkback and USB webcam output. The larger ATEM 2 M/E Constellation 4K has 20 standards converted 12G-SDI inputs, 12 x 12G-SDI aux outputs, 2 DVEs, 8 ATEM Advanced chroma keyers, 2 multiviews and a SuperSource for a total of 6 DVEs.

ATEM Constellation switchers feature a compact rack mount design with a built in control panel. This allows operation of the switcher, critical during setup or for emergency use. Also included is a large LCD so customers can see program output and change switcher settings via on screen menus. The compact design is perfect for portable live production, with the rear of the switcher including connections for 12G-SDI inputs, aux outputs, balanced audio and Ethernet for control.

The ATEM Constellation family has a massive number of fully independent outputs. These SDI outputs are very powerful because customers can independently route any SDI input or any internal source to each SDI output. That’s perfect for running independent feeds to stage screens, master recorders and streaming processors. Or use the SDI outputs for ISO recorders, where each deck will get a resynchronized switcher input with matching timecode. All SDI outputs contain program audio, RP-188 timecode, SDI camera control, tally and talkback.

For live streaming, the USB-C connection on ATEM Constellation operates as a webcam source. The software is tricked into thinking the ATEM Constellation is a common webcam, but it’s really a live production switcher! That guarantees full compatibility with any video software in full resolution 1080HD quality.

The Datavideo NVS-34 H.264 Dual Streaming Encoder lets you stream to two platforms, record to an SD card, or stream and record simultaneously, in different bitrates in each scenario. It also supports vertical video streaming with rotate and crop functions for social media. Various streaming protocols are supported (see below), and NTFS/FAT32/exFAT recording allows you to record in MP4/TS formats without file size limitations.

The system features SDI, HDMI, and analog RCA unbalanced audio inputs and an RJ45 network interface. Simple front-panel buttons let you choose the input, bitrate, and streaming/recording options.
