amaran COB 60x S Bi-Color LED Monolight

amaran expands its LED monolight line with the S-series COB 60x S Bi-Color LED Monolight, adopting the quality of light and the compact and lightweight form of the previous COB 60x. Featuring an upgraded LED chipset design, this 65W fixture provides a variable 2700-6500K color temperature and ultra-high SSI score across the board for extremely accurate and improved color reproduction. This point-source video light has a surprising output of 33,300 lux at 3.3′ when paired with the included mini hyper reflector. A variety of nine lighting effects are easily accessible to help you simulate different creative looks. This is a practical lighting solution for content creators and videographers looking for a portable and quiet light without sacrificing image quality.

Adjustments can be made locally on the unit with an intuitive LCD screen or wirelessly from a distance of up to 262′ using your smartphone and the Sidus Link app. The 60x S offers extended power options and is ready for worldwide use thanks to its included 100 to 240 VAC power supply, but it can also run on separately available NP-F or D-Tap batteries for situations when AC current is unavailable. Equipped with a full-size Bowens mount and a stand adapter with an umbrella holder, you get great compatibility with a wide array of light modifiers. A carry bag is supplied as well for storage and on-the-go productions.

Detailed Color Fidelity System

The S series has improved spectral continuity to achieve the enhanced color quality of an ultra-high SSI (Tungsten) of 90 and (D56) of 87, a 17.5% increase in SSI from its predecessor. Impressive ratings of CRI 96, TLCI 97, CQS 95, TM-30 Rf 96, and TM-30 Rg 100 are your assurance of a high degree of accuracy in color reproduction at all times. Suitable for home studios or live stream setups, the significantly improved spectral quality of the 60x S will ensure accurate skin tone reproduction for your videos.

Powerful Output with Mini Hyper Reflector

The 60x S emits up to 2427 lux at a distance of 3.3′ at 5600K. When equipped with the included mini hyper reflector, the light’s output climbs to an impressive 33,300 lux. A soft diffusion cover is included for use with the reflector.

Preset Effects

The light has nine special effects, including paparazzi, fireworks, lightning, faulty bulb, TV, pulse, strobe, explosion, and fire.

Compact and Versatile

You get modifiability for magnified or diffused output and full-color control throughout its expanded 2500 to 7500K CCT range. Featuring highly accurate color reproduction, the 300c also ensures high-quality light output with up to 26,580 lux at 3.3′ using its included reflector. The 300c provides nine built-in special effects for paparazzi, fireworks, lightning, faulty bulb, TV, pulsing, strobe, explosion, and fire. You can find the right level of illumination for your scene with 0 to 100% stepless dimming.

Quickly make adjustments locally on the fixture or remotely via Bluetooth using your smartphone and the Sidus Link app. With 300W of output, this light can easily be a key or fill light on set. In addition, its silent active cooling system allows it to be used in environments that require quiet atmospheres, including small studios, interviews, and indie film sets. The compact lamp head measures only 9.8 x 6.1 x 5.6″ and is ready for worldwide use via its 100 to 240V power supply. The high-efficiency chipset produces stellar color quality and accurate skin tones throughout its CCT range of 2700 to 10,000K with full green-magenta control, achieving high CRI, TLCI, and SSI values across the board. The design features 16 built-in pixels that can be independently adjusted and assigned an HIS value via the integrated controls or remotely using the Sidus Link app for Bluetooth devices.
